Former Flame coach Dennis Johnson dies of heart attack
According to multiple Internet reports, former Boston Celtics star and former Florida Flame coach Dennis Johnson died on Thursday of a heart attack.
Johnson, 52, coached the Flame of the NBA Development League in its inaugural season. He left after one year and was coaching the Austin Toros of the D-League. With Johnson coaching the Flame, the team won eight of its last 11 to finish 17-31 in its first year at Germain Arena.
