Where FIBA has it restrictions, local and national federations are opening their rules on the quantity of NON European players on a team.Additionally there are no borders and restriction on the number of European players on a team. Which results that the stronger and bigger European basketball countries dominate in developing and supplying fast potential and talent throughout Europe.

    This could mean basketball is on the way of replacing soccer as the worlds most popular sport and could mean the USA will not be number 1 in hoops any more
