Liang donates winnings to his homeland
After he had collected the first prize of £94,218 in the Singapore Masters yesterday, the 28-year-old Wen-Chong Liang made an extraordinary gesture. As happened with the £25,000 he won in an event on the Omega China tour last year, he said that he would be giving the lot to the development of golf in his homeland.
