The Toronto Blue Jays have apparently offered Vernon Wells a seven year deal worth $126 million. If he signs it, the deal would be the sixth-richest in Major League history.

    It sounds like a good deal for the recipient. I don't know if anyone is worth that much though.

    It sounds like a great deal for Vernon. I'm not sure which other offers he had to compare it to, but I think it's another example of a quality player remaining loyal to the Blue Jays organization.
